The Swimsuit Phase

Ever since swimming lessons, Ava loves the water and begs to go swimming almost everyday.  At first, whenever she would see her swimsuit, she would put it on and ask all day long if she could go... she finally gave up on asking to go swimming and would just put her swimsuit on periodically.  Now she puts one on everyday.  She wakes up and says, "where my Dora fimfoup?" or "where my mermaid fimfoup?"  Can you tell I love the way she says swimsuit?  Its so cute!  And instead of changing her clothes all day long, she now changes swimsuits all day long.  Good thing (or not) she has like 6.  And of course her favorite is the old hand me down ratty mermaid one.  My new favorite is the Dora one she wore yesterday with the swim shirt underneath... yes, she insisted it be that way... isn't it just so lovely?

We had to put Mia's Dora swimsuit on to match that day.  It was actually pretty cute.  Today was the tinkerbell top with the Aqua bottoms (we couldn't find the purple bottoms to match the Tinkerbell top), and hurray, we actually got to go swimming!  Ava was so shocked when I told her we were really gonna go to Aunt Jen's to go swim.  She had a lot of fun even though she never stuck her face in the water.  She's so done with that.  Oh, great, I just realized she's probably going to start asking everyday again if we can go swimming in Aunt Jen's pool....

I had to put this cute one of Isaac and Ava, he always loves to pose with his sisters, or anyone for that matter :)

Here's the one Ava decided to wear for PJs tonight... :o)

She's so cute! At least it's warm enough to do this there, Rex has wanted me to put on his swimsuit a couple of days and I keep trying to tell him it's too cold to wear his swimsuit, he has put it on a couple of times. Actually, it's been warmer this week but he hasn't asked to wear it for a few days. At least you can still go swimming:-)

So cute the way that kids always are. I also love the way my kids say things. Not so fortunately is the case that it is still warm here and will be for a while yet. Hopefully , it will get and stay cool at night soon. But, Arizona is awesome for alot of other reasons, heat not being one of them. Also, good thing that she has such a large array of swimsuits, one for every day of the week (excluding Sunday). :)

That is way too cute! I love the one of her asleep. It will be a great blackmail photo! You can show it to all her 1st dates. Even if it is the most adorable picture in the world no teenage girl wants their Mom or Dad pulling out old pics of them going through a "cute" phase! I love it!

This is reminder of the Frank R. Jensen AZ reunion on Saturday November 1, 2008 from 10 am to 4pm

Location:

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
7145 E. Monterey Ave
MESA , AZ 85209

It has been a long time since we have all been together, so I hope you can make it. We are planning all kinds of fun and exciting things – at the church building and also at the park just a few steps away - but we need to know ASAP who can make it so we can plan accordingly and make assignments. We know for some of you this is NOT an easy thing to attend because of a host of commitments made to our children’s activities – but we’d really love to see each of you.

That's adorable, Kara! I love the way she says swimsuit! And, I'm totally jealous that she can be wearing swimsuits all day! No fair. I'm sure my girls would love that too, but alas, the weather is not conducive. We change princess outfits all day--sounds like they'd get along. :)
