Madison, Isaac, Ava, Mia, Amy, Emily, Delanie, my Mom and I went to the Phoenix Zoo yesterday. The weather was perfect, the animals were active, the kids were happy, and we all had a great time!

Me n 2 cute girlsWe really loved the bird enclosure, we got to see so many different birds up close! The kids were feeding cheetos to a kiwi bird. I made them stop right away but secretly I was hoping it would stay close by looking for more crumbs, and it did. Emily and Maddy were looking at these gray and white birds, and Emily says, "oh those are cute little birds!" Maddy: "eeww, those birds are freaky!" Emily: "but they are so small and cute!" Maddy, suspiciously: "those legs are way too long and skinny!"

We had a great time on Saturday... thanks to Amy for letting us get into the zoo on her zoo pass! Too bad she wouldn't pose for any pics. ;) And thanks to my Mom for letting me use her camera and then emailing me all the pictures. :)

Aww, looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I miss the Phoenix Zoo! And being able to go to the zoo in the wintertime!
