Changes

So as many of you know, Chris and I (and Mia) just took a trip to FL for a few days-- a much needed getaway!  When we came back, I was surprised to realize how much my children had grown up.  Not just over the 6 days we were gone, but in general, they are so BIG!  The next day, I looked back at my little Ava chattering away about something, with her cute little expressions, and little hand gestures, and I seriously started to tear up a little realizing how grown up she has become.  She's not a baby anymore-- newsflash!! ;)  

In other news, Isaac lost one of his front teeth about a week and a half ago and Cameron and Madison both got glasses!!  (finally)  Cameron is near sighted, surprise surprise, he's such a bookworm I don't know how often his eyes actually get a chance to look far away, and Madison has some funky thing goin on with her left eye only.  She can hardly see anything with that eye, and even with glasses her vision is still only 20/25!  The school nurse thought she was faking it because she could only read like the 1st line of the eye chart with one eye, and every perfectly with the right eye.  Same thing with the nurse at our Dr's office.  The optometrist is hoping her vision will improve with the glasses, otherwise she might have to wear an eye patch!!  Just for a few hours a day, to give the bad eye a little exercise. 

I just can't believe how grown up they all look with their glasses, missing teeth, bigness, you know.  Her are some sad pictures to remind me....
