In other news, Isaac lost one of his front teeth about a week and a half ago and Cameron and Madison both got glasses!! (finally) Cameron is near sighted, surprise surprise, he's such a bookworm I don't know how often his eyes actually get a chance to look far away, and Madison has some funky thing goin on with her left eye only. She can hardly see anything with that eye, and even with glasses her vision is still only 20/25! The school nurse thought she was faking it because she could only read like the 1st line of the eye chart with one eye, and every perfectly with the right eye. Same thing with the nurse at our Dr's office. The optometrist is hoping her vision will improve with the glasses, otherwise she might have to wear an eye patch!! Just for a few hours a day, to give the bad eye a little exercise.
I just can't believe how grown up they all look with their glasses, missing teeth, bigness, you know. Her are some sad pictures to remind me....
Sassy little 3 1/2 year old-- so grown up!
you can kinda see his missing tooth, isn't he cute?
Mr bookworm
Doesn't she look so much older?
So I like this one, all dressed up her fairy costume... not so grown up.. ;D

wow ava does look really grown up and maddy looks super cute in her glasses. too cute :) smart yet sophisticated yet sexy at the same time :)
Oh man, I hate thinking about how old the kids are getting! Ava- 3 1/2 yikes, Rex will be 3 in less than a month. It makes me so sad, I really wish I could slow down time or rewind and relive it all again. It's good to have you blogging again! Love the glasses! And yes, Maddy does look much older.
your kids sure are cute! where are the pics from your florida trip?
florida pics are coming soon... the one on our header is from our trip...
i agree! it is so sad to see how fast they grow...im having a hard time with the school year ending, knowing that Tyler will be in 3rd grade! Maddy looks so good in glasses (they both do) but she does look very sophisticated/sexy/smart, like Carol said!
cute pictures! awww i hope maddys eye gets better :-(
I'm glad, Kara, that you are appreciating how fast time goes - it really does help you put things in perspective. The little things that kids do to make us "unhappy" are so inconsequential to the bigger picture. How blessed you are to see this. How great it is to enjoy your wonderful kids in the “now”.
I sure enjoyed being with them for six days. I miss them, but not the work! :)
Oh my word! I agree, your kids are getting SOOOOO big!!! It has been WAY to long since we have seen you guys!! They are all so stinkin' cute though!
